As a bonus, the program can save the final video file in as many as four popular video formats.

The program’s interface follows a very convenient “before and after” approach. It shows you the original video image on the left-hand side and the resulting image on the right so that you can compare and see the effects – in real time – of whatever changes you apply. Flipping and rotating a video file couldn’t be simpler – the program offers you seven buttons that will rotate or flip the original video file to a variety of degrees and positions with just one click. You can flip your videos horizontally and vertically, and rotate them either clockwise or counterclockwise just by clicking on the corresponding button.

When saving the result, you have the option to select one of the four output codecs supported, namely PGN, MKV, AVI, and MP4, and thus also convert the original video file into a more preferable format in the process.

Those are all the functions that Free Video Flip and Rotate promises to perform, and it does perform them very efficiently. Contrary to what some people think, “limited functionality” is not always a synonym for a “bad program”.
